THE ARTISTIC PROCESS

  • Each artistic design is hand drawn on natural white pure silk using a gutta resist
  • Using French dyes and paint brushes the color is applied
  • The painted silk is steam set permanently fixing the color then hand washed
  • Each mask is carefully cut out by hand and the sewn together by Lynne Kiel

THESE ART PIECES

  • Take time and each are unique in their own way
  • I have made my best effort to show proper coloring of the silk and artwork in my photos
  • Each item is hand made from start to finish by Lynne Kiel
