THE ARTISTIC PROCESS
- Each artistic design is hand drawn on natural white pure silk using a gutta resist
- Salt is sprinkled on the dyed wet silk creating a tie-dye effect
- Using French dyes and paint brushes the color is applied
- The painted silk is steam set permanently fixing the color then hand washed
- Each mask is carefully cut out by hand and the sewn together by Lynne Kiel
